  • Our Programs

    The Community Center offers a variety of programs, and does so in a variety of formats — in person, hybrid and virtual.

    Many are offered at the Community Center. Others are offered at locations throughout the Mid-Hudson Valley. In addition to our programs, we host a variety of special events and gatherings.

  • Well-Being Services

    The Community Center's Well-Being Services are dedicated to providing comprehensive, holistic wellness programming that affirms and uplifts all members of the LGBTQ+ community

  • Individual and Family Counseling

    Our counselors offer LGBTQ+-affirming counseling for individuals and family members ages 13 and up. We meet and support you wherever you are along your healing journey.

  • Acupuncture Clinic Tuesdays

    12:30 PM  2:30 PM

    The Community Acupuncture Clinic is provided by Dr. Lyndsay von Miller, DCAM, LAc. (Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist, Board Certified Herbalist).

  • STD, HIV and HEPATITIS-C Testing

    Through a partnership with Cornerstone Family Healthcare, individuals can access free STD, HIV and Hepatitis-C testing at the Community Center. Testing is offered on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 2:00 to 6:00pm.

  • Gen Q Youth Drop-In

    Join us for GenQ, a drop-in program for youth ages 13 to 18 who identify as LGBTQ+ or are exploring their gender identity and/or sexual orientation.

    Facilitated by Jester Garcia.

  • Queer Kinship

    A supportive community for parents, caregivers, and grandparents of LGBTQ+ children, plus activities for LGBTQ+ youth and siblings.

    Join monthly gatherings featuring confidential support groups, one-on-one guidance, community resources, and supervised youth activities.

    Every family deserves understanding, acceptance, and the tools to thrive together.

  • Trans-Formations

    Trans-Formations is our support and discussion group for individuals 18+ considering or at any stage in their gender transition.

    We meet on Mondays from 6 - 7:30 pm in person at the Community Center or over Zoom.

  • The Rainbow Lounge

    A relaxed meetup for LGBTQ+ adults 50+ to connect with community peers. In partnership with SAGE, this "hip adulting group" explores topics like aging with grace, mentorship, relationships, and the unique joys and challenges of growing older as LGBTQ+ individuals. Come share your wisdom and experience!

  • Mankind - the Men's Group

    A supportive discussion group for men 18+ to explore masculinity, relationships, spirituality, and personal growth in a thoughtful, uplifting environment. Non-binary and trans men welcome. Share insights on topics ranging from identity and relationships to self-care and life experiences with like-minded peers.

Medical Self-Advocacy: Finding Your Voice in Healthcare

Hybrid: In-person at the Community Center + Zoom

Navigating the healthcare system can feel overwhelming, especially when you're managing a chronic illness or complex diagnosis. This workshop offers practical strategies to help you prepare for appointments, ask informed questions, and advocate for your needs, while also addressing the emotional side of medical experiences including grief, identity shifts, and trauma. Presented by Saugerties Therapy Center.

Your voice matters. Come learn how to speak up for the issues affecting LGBTQ+ youth.

At this event, teens will learn the basics of legislative advocacy and how to communicate with elected officials — then get creative designing and writing postcards about the issues that matter most to them.

No experience needed. Just bring your ideas. All supplies provided.

Presented by Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center and LaSalle Mental Health.
