Trans-Formations is our support and discussion group for individuals 18+ considering or at any stage in their gender transition.
We meet on Mondays from 6 - 7:30 pm in person at the Community Center or over Zoom.

STD Testing with Cornerstone Health
Through a partnership with Cornerstone Family Healthcare, individuals can access free STD, HIV and Hepatitis-C testing at the Community Center. Testing is offered on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 2:00 to 6:00pm. Fall is just around the corner, so join us at the Community Center, where we will turn Apuzzo Hall into a giant free clothing market! Your Pain is My Pain: The Suppression of Fundamental Rights
The Trump Administration’s conduct has violated basic human rights. These violations impact ALL Americans and persons in the U.S. regardless of ethnicity, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, immigration status, residency location, or work environment. This workshop will not only identify, analyze and critique the basis and extent of the violations but also how we can & should resist. Areas of discussion include:
• The dual court system in the U.S.

Kris McDaniel-Miccio is an international award-winning attorney, writer, teacher and activist, who has working tirelessly to protect democracy & basic human rights. As well as an attorney and law professor, experienced in litigation and in authoring policy & legislative/international law, she is an ordained rabbi. She is also credited with mountains of published articles that not only critique attacks upon fundamental rights but also articulate viable challenges to state, federal and international attempts to abrogate rights.

Gen Q Youth Drop-In
Join us for GenQ, a drop-in program for youth ages 13 to 18 who identify as LGBTQ+ or are exploring their gender identity and/or sexual orientation.
GenQ provides a safe space for LGBTQ youth, fosters social connection to peers, encourages exploration into careers and post-secondary education, introduces youth to LGBTQ individuals working and thriving in the Hudson Valley and connects LGBTQ youth to positive role models and mentors who are LGBTQ or are allies. 🌈

STD Testing with Cornerstone Health
Through a partnership with Cornerstone Family Healthcare, individuals can access free STD, HIV and Hepatitis-C testing at the Community Center. Testing is offered on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 2:00 to 6:00pm. Open meetings are available to anyone interested in Alcoholics Anonymous’ program of recovery from alcoholism. Nonalcoholics may attend open meetings as observers.
