Every year, Pride season reminds us why we fight, and this year, we're carrying that into everything we make. The Our Fight Is Love collection features silkscreen-printed tees, tote bags, embroidered hats, and little love bundles with buttons, magnets, and stickers, all made in the Hudson Valley, all rooted in the stories of this community. All purchases directly support the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center and our mission.
As the season unfolds, we'll be sharing the faces behind the campaign: community members, staff, and volunteers who show up for this community every single day. Their stories are worth reading.

The Faces Behind Our Campaign
This collection is rooted in community. Meet the people behind the campaign: community members, staff, and volunteers who show up for this community every single day. Here is a little bit about who they are and what they bring to the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ community.

Phoenix
Phoenix has been doing community organizing work for nearly four years.
A white queer transmasc who cares deeply about bringing people together, you can find his events at the Community Center and at the Unicorn Bar, where he hosts drag shows and T4T mixers. When he's not organizing, he's making art or skating with the Mi-Hudson Misfits Roller Derby.

Bubbles
Bubbles is a local Latinx drag and burlesque performer, producer, and proud Puerto Rican nonbinary person who loves to sing, dance, and spend time with their cats.
This June, catch them performing at Pride events across the region, bringing Trans Latin pride to every stage they step on.

Charlie
Charlie currently serves as the Community Center's Director of Programs and Services. As an activist, organizer, and self-identified Dad-type, Charlie believes deeply in the power of collective community care and reciprocal interdependence.
When not at the Community Center, Charlie can be found singing songs with his trusty guitar on the couch or around the campfire.

Claudia
Claudia is 37, pan/asexual, trans, and proudly nerdy. A 90s kid who collects toy cars, crystals, and hair clips, she also writes poetry, short stories, and horror fiction over at her WordPress. She volunteers at the front desk here at the Center and co-facilitates our Trans-formations group. Oh, and she goes to dance class every week, wheelchair and all.
