Johnathan Hornig LCSW has been in the human services field for more than three decades. He received his AAS at Westchester Community College, his BSW at Herbert H. Lehman College and his MSW at Fordham University. As a person who has experienced many ups and downs of life he began to realize early on his love language is to serve.

Johnathan worked in various medical facilities during the latter days of the HIV/AIDS crisis. His career continued to expand while working with the homeless veteran population. Later he worked with patients with severe mental illness in medical settings and day treatment programs. In addition, his knowledge base grew while working with underserved youth and families in the Child Protective Services Unit of the Westchester County Department of Social Services. Johnathan has also managed a successful private practice.

Throughout his commitment and dedication to the healing and growth of the LGBTQ+ community has never wavered. He has been a strong advocate for social justice issues. He was a volunteer at the Community Center for a year prior to being hired as the Director of Well-Being.
