Emma has recently returned home to the Hudson Valley after living on the West Coast for over a decade. She is in her first year at the Marist University MSW program and is excited to become part of this community as she begins her internship at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center.

Having grown up in the area and fought for equity since the days of Jason West and gay marriages in New Paltz, Emma knows how important the Community Center is. When she needs some self-care, she is often found gardening with her dog and cat, or dancing to whatever music suits the mood.

She is also an avid horror enthusiast and was an SFX makeup artist in the past.
