PARTS AND PIECES: A Conversation in Collage, Pottery, and Memory

  • Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center, Apuzo Hall Gallery 300 Wall Street Kingston, NY, 12401 United States (map)

Parts and Pieces: A Conversation in Collage, Pottery, and Memory examines how fragments become whole.

Three Hudson Valley artists explore assembly as both an artistic practice and as a metaphor for the LGBTQ+ community.

Robert Ohnigian has taught collage at Woodstock School of Art for 15 years. Pat Horner's 2023 book "Loving Scott" pieces together her son's life as drag performer "Misdemeaner" through performance garments and makeup designs. Nathan Gwirtz creates ornate decorative pottery since 2001.
