Free to Dream
Saturday, March 14, 2026 | 1:00 to 3:00pm
Free to Dream is a welcoming workshop inviting LGBTQ+ community members and allies to imagine bold futures through storytelling, art, and collective creativity. Using word and image, we will explore individual dreams and shared visions for our communities and the world. No experience needed, just a willingness to explore in a safe, supportive space.
Led by transmedia artist and community leader Dakota Lane, this free workshop is part of Drawing Together, a mobile arts program dedicated to bringing inclusive, culturally responsive creative experiences to underserved communities across the Hudson Valley. Supported by the NYS Legislature through Arts Mid-Hudson, Free to Dream centers art as a tool for dialogue, healing, individual expression, and collaborative imagination.
Free and open to all. No registration required.
