Create Yourself: Art Therapy Series for Young Adults

Create Yourself is a free 6-session art therapy series for young adults ages 18-25, facilitated by Leah Rose Damour, LCAT, DBT-C, ATR-BC (she/her), a Kingston-based licensed Psychotherapist and Board Certified Art Therapist. Leah Rose specializes in creating safe spaces for self-expression, blending compassion, humor, and curiosity to help participants connect with their inner resilience.

Each week, the group explores identity development and connection through guided art activities. Session topics include reflecting on personal journeys, writing letters to our younger selves, finding chosen families, and creating safe spaces. The group is closed and limited to 8 participants to ensure an intimate, supportive environment.

About the Facilitator:

Leah Rose Damour, LCAT, DBT-C, ATR-BC (she/her) is a Kingston-based licensed Psychotherapist specializing in creating safe spaces for self-expression. Her style mixes compassion, humor, and curiosity to encourage clients to find their inner resilience. She has experience working with teens and adults in group programs, in individual therapy, and family therapy. She works with folks who are living with experiences of isolation, gender/sexual identity exploration, anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma and abuse, imposter syndrome and relationship struggles. She offers Art Therapy and DBT therapy in addition to traditional counseling and psychotherapy.
