Craig Burdett
Vice President of the Board of Directors
Educated in engineering and management, Craig developed professional communication skills beginning in the early 90’s as one of the founders for a technology startup. Currently at Vassar College he develops and manages communication programs for the alumnae/i association.
In high school Craig volunteered to answer the phones for public television fundraising appeals and has been hooked ever since, volunteering in support of children’s health foundations, literacy education, emergency response groups, and AIDS support organizations. Most recently, as the volunteer chair for the Center’s Communications Committee, Craig found a deep sense of fulfillment by helping to make the dream of the Center a reality.
A native of the Deep South, Craig relocated to New York ten years ago and considers the Hudson Valley his home. He lives in New Paltz with his partner José Dominguez.
